BASES LOADED SPORTS
Background
It always starts with a dream. Whether it is a field, a goal, a career, or an event, it all starts with a dream. For us at Bases Loaded Sports, Inc. (BLS), our dream is to provide quality competitive baseball for young players in the Capital City area. Tallahassee and surrounding communities have great baseball with many talented young players. However, in order for our players to maximize their potential, they must face higher level competition. In youth baseball, higher level competition can be found in travel ball. Our teams are always on the go when it comes time for travel baseball, as local opportunities have been limited in the past. Our organization aims to bring teams from abroad to the Capital City area and to improve the competition for our local teams.
BSL, Inc. is a local organization founded in 2007 by Donnie Westcott and Hector Morales in order to expose the young players in the Capital City area to high level competitive baseball. Our current objective is to sponsor enough sanctioned tournaments in our area for local teams to have better opportunities to qualify for National level championships. We are currently associated with Grand Slam Sports and the winning teams in our events will be able to move up to face higher caliber teams. Through our organization, young ball players in the Capital City area will be afforded the opportunity to bring home Regional and National Championships. In addition, they will gain significant experiences that could improve the quality of our middle and high school level baseball programs.
